The drawing for the Corvette Convertible will be conducted using the Draw-Down Process.  At 5:00 PM officials will begin drawing numbered balls from a drum. They will continue to draw numbered balls until ONE numbered ball  remains.  The person who owns the raffle ticket corresponding to that number will be the winner of the Corvette Convertible or $10,000 Cash.

Ticket Holder need not be present to win.

All prizes will go the “Ticket Holder of Record” according to the Mason Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC).

A “Ticket Holder of Record” is defined as the person who purchased  the ticket from the  MACC,  or the registered owner prior to the drawing of the next ticket.

The purchase of one $100 raffle ticket entitles the “Ticket Holder of Record“ to attend the party as part of their purchase.  Each owner may bring one guest at a cost of $20 to defray the cost of dinner and beverages.  If a ticket was purchased for a group or registered as Mr. & Mrs. etc. ONE person may attend as the ticket owner and another may attend as a guest upon payment of an additional $20.  Only 2 persons may attend per ticket.

No one under 21 years of age may drink on the premises, nor may any persons under 18 be entitled to buy a Car Raffle Ticket or attend the party as a guest.

At any time after the first ticket is drawn, a Ticket Holder may present a ticket to the Auctioneer, for the purpose of having said ticket sold to the highest bidder at the auction.

Auction sellers will be charged a 10% commission or selling fee by the MACC

If you are transferring ownership of your ticket, you must do so prior to October 1, and you must notify the Mason Area Chamber of Commerce.  After October 1, previously owned tickets may be sold only via the auction process at the party.

You may have someone else represent you at the party but any decisions they make on your behalf are between your representative and you. The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce assumes no responsibility for the decisions made by your representative.

All tickets auctioned will be sold to the highest bidder.  The original ticket holder may bid and/or buy his own ticket and be liable for the commission accordingly.

Buyers of the auctioned tickets must pay for purchases at once, by cash, check, or VISA/MasterCard.  Tickets must be paid for, and ownership transferred prior to the drawing or auction of another ticket.

The MACC may at their discretion, limit the number of tickets to be auctioned between drawings.

Winners will be responsible for any, and all, taxes, licenses, titles, insurance, registrations, etc. connected with the prizes.

The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce, and its records, will have the final word in all transactions and/or disputes

No prizes are to be removed from the premises until the appropriate paperwork has been completed.

The winner of the Corvette will take delivery no earlier than Monday, October 22, 2007 & upon payment of 27% Federal income tax deposit based on the Fair Market Value.  If the winner chooses to take the $10,000 Cash prize instead of the Corvette, they will be subject to 27% Federal income tax and those monies will be withheld.

Until payment is received, ownership of all tickets will remain with the MACC

Ticket Holders will not hold the MACC responsible or liable for any accidents, theft, or damages resulting from their participation in this event.

The Corvette Convertible is a previously-owned vehicle.  Resale value is subject to market conditions.
